Blue Blood …
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a nail polish post and I’ve been noticing some trends lately and wanted to share them on here. Both of these colors I’ve actually posted about before but they’re reappearing a lot lately.
The left color is Insta-This from Color Club. I got this polish in my Birchbox from last month and, like I mentioned before, gave it a try right away. At first I didn’t think I liked the bright blue (especially in the middle of fall) at all but it’s growing on me and I think it may be a keeper for a little while at least.
The second color is Wicked by Essie. The maroon (or Oxblood as some are calling it… I’m sorry but that sounds disgusting and this will be the one and only time you hear/see me say that! haha) is definitely a big color right now. It’s everywhere… clothing, accessories and nails. Wicked is actually not a newer color from Essie but it seems to be making a big appearance this season. I was actually reading an article about it and about half way through it crossed my mind that I actually already purchased this last year. So, naturally, I went and painted my nails with it immediately to see if I was still really in love with it… turns out I am!
