Updated Sephora Haul

Earlier last month, I made a Sephora order and took a few photos before I dove into everything. Yes, I’m just now getting to blogging about them. It’s been a crazy month for some reason. Anyways, here’s what I picked up. You’ll definitely notice some repeat offenders and some newbies as well.

So, you’ve heard about these before and have I mentioned how much I love them!? Benefit Boi-ing is my go to concealer! It has the perfect coverage yet still light and not cakey! My next repeat is the Dior Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Wear… in my eyes the perfect foundation. Seriously, I challenge anyone to find better… for my skin! And lastly, we have NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna. Oh the glow! I haven’t worn anything else since I first purchased this in the beginning of summer!

Everything else in this photo was actually free! I love Sephora for their ridiculous benefits program. If I could give any advance to shoppers is to stop being ignorant and sign up for benefits programs in every single store. I know at work we have a rewards program and you get ridiculous rewards from it yet people refuse to sign up. I guess if you don’t like free things or extreme discounts that’s fine… I’ll take advantage of mine though, thanks!

Anyways…. I got a sample pack of DKNY Be Delicious with four of their fragrances including NYC, Paris, London and Rio. I’ve always liked DKNY and actually have their original Be Delicious fragrance so I was excited to give this a try. Naturally, I love all four fragrances. They are pretty different in ways but all share some notes. Overall, I have been creating a pretty big fragrance collection lately so I’m not sure that I’ll run right out and purchase any of these but when I’m ready to purchase fragrance again I’ll definitely go back to these. Another freebie was a Benefit Kit with the POREfessional and they’re Real. I’ve used a small sample of they’re Real before and actually have used it every day since. I really like it and usually use it as a last step when applying mascara. As for the POREfesstional, I had to laugh because I actually now have two samples of this. The sample in this kit wasn’t really a sample at all though, but a full size. I still love my Smashbox primer the best but this is a good second and would probably be perfect for normal, non-oily skin. Lastly, in this group of large samples, I had The Art of Shaving Shaving Cream in Unscented. I wasn’t too sure about this but I’ve seen it a few times while lurking around Sephora and thought “why not?”. It’s very similar to a C.O.Bigelow shaving cream I’ve purchased at Bath and Body Works before. I really like it and will definitely keep it in mind for future purchases!

Other things I purchased but started using right away so they missed the little photo shoot were  Sephora’s Colorful Palette in Kiss From 10 and Bumble and bumble Sunday Shampoo. The Colorful Palette is great and perfect for my skin tone and I could see it working for so many others. It’s the perfect neutral brown. It’s my go to on a daily basis. As for the Sunday Shampoo, I’ve always heard everyone raving about it so I decided to give it a try and I definitely like it as well. It’s a great shampoo to take away all of the product build up… I actually think I may use it today!

Lastly, I got a few smaller samples. That’s one of the great perks of ordering Sephora online! I love getting their samples! I decided on the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, Perfekt Lip Perfection Gel, Make Up Forever Microperfecting Primer and I selected another cleanser but they sent me this Clinique instead. (The only problem is sometimes when they run out they just send whatever… mostly lotions and moisturizers in which I don’t use.) Needless to say, the Clinique will go unused or go to my Mom which loves that stuff! As for the Fresh and Make Up Forever… I still haven’t given them a try. Ops! But, I have tried the Perfekt Lip Perfection Gel and really liked it! It gave my lips such a great even tone! I checked to see the full price and it’s $24 a tube… yikes! Sadly, I think it may be worth it!

Well, there you have my current Sephora haul. I went a little crazy in August and September so I’m hoping that’ll be it for a little while except for the basics. I know I have a few drugstore items I’m looking forward to trying to keep an eye out for that!

And here’s a little something currently in The Shop…
