Bahamas Trip : Day Five – Back to Miami/Home

I’ll make it short and sweet today. One week ago we arrived back in Miami. We had a little time that morning to eat a quick breakfast on the deck (where most of this video was taken) and then we were off. We headed over to MIA early, relaxed a little (or as much as one with anxiety from flying can relax in an airport) then we were off to Detroit. The flight was alright but definitely not as nice as the way down. I listened to music and made it through. Once we were in Detroit, we had to book it across the airport to our next flight. The one plus side was that I got to walk through the tunnel I’ve heard so much about (the last clip in the video). Unfortunately, the weather was horrible in Detroit and our final flight was nerve wrecking to say the least. Even the flight attendant made some remarks on the “bad air”. Needless to say, I’m home and safe so that’s all that counts now. It was an amazing trip and it truly makes me sad to look back at it now. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to go again.
