101 goals in 1001 days

I originally got the inspiration from Melissa Jill and I’ve since seen it on various other sites. So, I thought why not now? A new year… might as well kick it off with some bucket list items! I’m hoping that maybe if I write/blog this then it’ll get the ball rolling on some things! My 1001 in no particular order.

- Do not color/cut (except for a trim) my hair
- Finish 4 of Keri Smith’s books (including a new Wreck This Journal)
- Blog at least once a week on Vanilla and Rose for a full year
- Find a new apartment
- Get healthy/in shape
- Take a vacation by myself
- Organize my closet & keep it that way
- Go skiing
- Read at least 40 new books {1/40}
- Learn to knit
- Pay off all of my college debt
- Get a dog
- Learn Lightroom software
- Become a full time photographer; become my own boss
- Visit NYC again
- Try something from Sprinkles Cupcakes
- Get over 250 likes for both Vanessa Reed Photography and Vanilla&Rose on Facebook
- Redesign Vanessa Reed Photography website
- Crochet two blankets
- Wake up before noon everyday (except during Floorsets at work)
- Get headshots done for my websites (from an inspiring local photographer)
- Watch a full movie series in one day (HP, Twilight, Star Wars, etc.)
- Try everything on the Starbucks menu at least once (except dairy choices)
- Make a rainbow cake
- Photograph a wedding proposal
- Donate to a non-kill animal shelter
- Make it to 8 years as a vegetarian (1/30/2014)
- Mail a letter to a stranger
- Learn more about BatWorld.org
- Go to Hawaii
- Grow my own food
- Visit a walk through aquarium

- Go to bed before midnight for a full month

- Drink 8 glasses of water every day for one week {Completed 3/27/12}
- Minimize my beauty products by at least half
- Track my purchases (except necessities) for a full year
- Find my signature fragrance (or 2 max.)
- Buy a FEED bag or purchase something from Herifer.org
- Try MAC cosmetics {Completed 4/2012}
- Complete a new photo project (Possibly a photo/hour)
- Create a photography portfolio
- Learn how to make macaroons
- Sponsor a child
The best part about my list? I’ve already started some of my goals and I’m only 3 days in! I hope that with this list I can go back from time to time as a little reminder of the different things I’m trying to accomplish.
